I'm rubbish.

I am absolutely, 100% rubbish.

I didn't realise quite how long it has been since I updated. I'm a bad, bad, bad blog owner, but I'm back and I'm going to rectify this.
Not even the Queen is impressed. 

But she does love a bit of Batman, apparently.

It's not my fault, really.

Honestly, it's not! Life suddenly showed up and demanded my attention. Back in August, I had plans. I had my blog, it was going strong, I got up to 1000 views and everything was lovely and awesome. I had secured a place on a masters degree. I had a life direction. I was enjoying my television in a completely healthy and not at all obsessed way and writing about it to continue my non-obsessiveness.

And then it all went wrong.

The funding fell through on my masters and I don't know if you are aware of this, but doing a masters degree is pricey! I couldn't afford to cover it alone and so I had to cancel my place. I had quit my editor job for this, so I wasn't in the best position. I wasn't sure which direction to go in.

Thankfully, I managed to get my job back, so writing was back on track. But it did mean that I got somewhat sidetracked from the world of blogging. I was working a lot and then it was Christmas. I'm not sure how that even happened, it just turned up all of a sudden and I found myself in a paper hat and eating turkey.

Plus, I got a little distracted with my novel. Yes. Novel. I'm writing a novel. And let me tell you, it's going to be huge. Watch this space.

Excuses, excuses. I know. I'm sorry. Please forgive me blogging world. I promise I won't neglect you again.

It's 2013. Luckily, we didn't die on the 21st December. It was touch and go there for a minute. Although I was a day out. I thought the world ended on the 22nd. It could have all ended and I wouldn't have even seen it coming. I thought we had an extra day.

I'm getting distracted again. This rather dull post is simply my way of saying "Hello again!". So, hello! Expect more of my fascinating thoughts on television, film and books in the future. I won't keep you waiting too long, I promise.
